Khadijah Karriem is an actress, writer producer that got her start in television guest starring on such shows as Lincoln Heights, NYPD Blue, the Practice and more. Her film credits include the starring role in Kiss by the Devil, and now as Regina in Recession Proof, making her original screenwriting and producing debut.

Powell has appeared in more than one hundred films, beginning in the 1980’s. His credits include Menace II Society (1993), Dead Presidents (1995), Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998), Rush Hour (1998), Next Friday (2000(, and its 2002 sequel, Friday After Next, Woman Thou Art Loosed (2004), and Ray (2004). He played Martin Luther King Jr. in 1999 television film Selma, Lord, Selma. Powel also has had many supporting roles in smaller direct-to-video films in 2000s and 2010s.

Arthur Muhammad, award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer of the 2015 release, ‘Carter High® (Charles Dutton, Vivica Fox, Pooch Hall, David Banner), has a keen eye, cinematic hands, and a patent gift for storytelling; the three key ingredients for developing ranking entertainment. First favored for multiple facets including masterful editing, Muhammad’s artful quixotic driven talent for transforming words into motion result in stories that integrate themselves into the subconscious of audiences. On any given platform, from films, television, or music videos he’s spun, his ardent flare prompts viewers to submit to every sequence. Arthus’s debut short, C’Ya claimed dual wins as best international film festival’s screen writer award, in Las Angeles. Consistently a winner, his Indie feature Black Angels (formerly named Sweet Justice) sold out the renowned Studio Movie Grill theaters throughout Dallas, TX, landing distribution through Wells Go, USA. Arthur since wrapped two films in which he directed, Paradise House which was filmed in Dallas and most recently-First Impression, which was filmed in Atlanta. First Impression was selected as an Official Selection in the coveted American Black Film Festival (ABFF) 2014 and is now managing international distribution offers. Currently he’s signed on to direct ‘Behind the Mask” a documentary on mental health with best-selling author and documentarian, N’Tyse (Beneath My Skin)
